Learn Stained Glass

Stained glass is a process that has its origins later then the 900s C.E. The gothic glass craftsmen used "grozing irons" to break chips off of the edge of glass to make the desired shapes. These glass shapes were then surrounded with lead came and soldered in place. Today the method is much the same, with the exception of tool advancement. Glass is an amazing "super-cooled" liquid that captures light. Stained glass is an art form that is used to allow light into a room and create glowing pictures.
