Learn Neon
In 1855, a German glass blower named Heinrich Geissler created the first neon light. Gas in the tube was placed under low pressure and electrical voltage was applied, the result was that the gas glowed. Geissler was the first Glass Bender. Glass bending is the art form that uses glass tubes and glass blowing concepts with gas to make neon lights and signs.
